An English translation of the chapter on fasting from the book “Summarized Islamic Fiqh” authored Sh. Muhammad ibn Ibrahim Al-Tuwaijri (may Allah preserve him) that includes the following points about fasting: (1) Meaning and virtues, (2) Rules, (3) Recommended acts, (4) Disliked, obligatory, and permissible acts to do, (5) voluntary fasting, and (6) i’tikaf.
